The 2025 WSGA Senior Amateur Championship wrapped up this past weekend at the beautiful Cedar Creek Golf Course at Star Valley Ranch. With its scenic mountain backdrop and challenging layout, the course provided the perfect stage for our senior competitors to showcase their skill, consistency, and passion for the game.
After two competitive days, John Hornbeck once again claimed the Men’s Senior Amateur title, adding to his impressive collection of championships. John has been a dominant force in this event over the years, and his ability to perform at a high level year after year is a testament to both his talent and his dedication to the game. His victory at Cedar Creek reinforces his place as one of Wyoming’s most accomplished golfers.
On the women’s side, Deborah Rees captured the Women’s Senior Amateur crown; her steady play and competitive spirit carried her to another well-deserved championship, further cementing her reputation as a consistent contender.
We also congratulate our flight winners and all participants who competed with determination and sportsmanship. A special thank you goes to Nick Harding, Head Golf Professional, Larry and his crew, and the rest of the staff at Star Valley Ranch, for their outstanding hospitality and course conditions. Their commitment to excellence ensured a first-class experience for every player.
